Bumper/side skirts in these pics?

I think the G's in both these pics look amazing but would they be too low for unpredictable city roads with stuff like potholes, bumps, curbs and such?

If it will make the car a hassle as a daily driver, then forget it. It won't be worth it unless its a show car.

The one in the first picture actually appears to be lower than the second.

Are you under the impression their ride height is a result of their "lip" and side skirts?"

Learn how to drive with a low car and you'll be fine...low being a result of suspension changes, not the bodykit

Yes I was. I'm not experienced with mods.

Are these cars lowered, or do they just have the body mods?

they have both. the main reason they are that low is due to them being lowered.

might just get a polyurethane lip and forget side skirts and lowering.

the G is already a beautiful car stock, I just like how aggressive it looks from the front in the first pic.

might lower eventually, but as a daily(and winter) driver I just can't see driving extremely slow and using all kinds of maneuvers to get up driveways and over bumps.

look into the eibach pro kit for the G.
its a good drop yet doesnt slam the car.
also, those in the pictures are not lips. they are full bumpers

derp.

gonna throw on a bumper/side skirts and probably not lower the car, at least not for a long time.

haha
dont rule it out man. an aftermarket bumper and skirts look pretty goofy on a stock height car.
but like you said, the G is a good looking car as is so its a win-win

I think most G's can look pretty awkward if they have have a kit on but not lowered. If you plan on it I'd do a mild drop and the. incorporate aftermarket body parts, that way you already have a set ride height to work around

You're on a mission exactly like the one I took, started with adding a lip on my OE front bumper. My best advice, add the lip because it elongates the profile of your G but forget lowering and everything else! Just enjoy/drive and take good care of your ride...Gary

would love to lower but too many dead animal in my city. squirrels, rabbits, cats and stuff that get hit by cars, don't want animal guts and blood all over my bumper and be plowing it's corpse wherever I go.

I say:
1. Paint your car white
2. Turn on Slayer
3. Go for the corpse plowing.
4. Throw up some METAL HORNS out the window.
5. Enjoy life knowing you are more metal than most metal heads, with real blood splattered all across your bumper.
