g35 coupe fog lights
Okay. So.. I have been looking for this and have searched for almost a week, so if I missed it, I apologize now.
I have been wanting to get some fog lights for my G35 Coupe (the kind that go in the bumper, not in the actual head light assembly). My question is, and I hope this is easily enough to follow, is it possible to "unhook" the foglight in the head lamp assembly (cut the wire, whatever) and put the aftermarket positive wire onto the factory fog light switch so that they still work like nothing changed. If what I'm trying to do works, when you turn on the high beams, it naturally turns off the fog light because it's on a different element within the bulb... So, does that mean that if/when i turn my hi beams on, the aftermarket fog lights turn off, and the low beams AND high beams BOTH turn on?
..has anyone even done this before?
Please and thanks to all that reply in helping with this here kwerstion.
