Plastic underneath coupe

I was driving today and all of a sudden i saw a empty clean pot soil bag come out from underneath the car in front of me. By the time i could react it had already gone under my car. I didnt see it in my rear view mirror but i didnt hear anything so i drove on. I drove for almost 3 miles until i stopped to check and low and behold there it was stuck on my under carriage. Now my question is i got 97% of the bag off, however 3 percent still remains in the form of melted plastic on the direct center of my undercarriage, dont know what its called. Can someone tell me if i should worry about engine damage or anything in paticular. I still smell a faint burning of plastic while i drive with windows open, i wonder if there is a bigger piece lodge up somewhere i didnt put it on the jack. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

melted plastic is IMPOSSIBLE to get off. you'll just have to enjoy the smell until it's burned off.
