Anyone lower a 04 x on coilovers? If so how low? Any problems with axle boots ripping or bushing? I already have the SPC camber arms in the rear along with the provided toe bolts. Any clearance issues with exhaust? Already lowered on the eibach pro kit. The coilovers of interest are the BC BR the awd ones. Also the red emblem insert wasn't my doing. Haha. My dad decided he was going to take it apon himself to do it.

Hi Cody, I'm not quite sure what the maximum is on lowering G35X before the inner axle boots crack, but for me (2005 G35X)..once I passed 24.25" (measurement from ground to fender), I noticed mine cracked. To give you an idea, that's with the sub-frame almost touching the ground basically which I don't recommend.
From the looks of your pics, it looks like you can still drop the front 1.5" lower without effecting boots. The rear can be pretty low. I've been slammed before without cracking boots. With your setup, I'd just drop it all around until the fender is barely above tire. Sorry, I don't have exact measurements. Once you lower it, I'd get a laser alignment too while you're at it.

Or is it a normal spring over shock? From what I see on some places they have both. But I can't find an option for them in one place.
Please include in your post:
1- 2004.5 350Z Roadster Springs
2- I think 1 to 1 1/2 inches.
3- Suffered a bit but corners much better (flatter)
4- After lowered, the steering wheel is off centered. Pending alignment.
5- About 2000 km on the lowered springs
6- No problems with the shocks. No bottoming.
7- stock OE rims and tires (7 x 17)

The rear coilovers are separate. BC Racing didn't make it a true coilover design for the rear. The springs reuse bottom rubber pillow mounts if I remember correctly. The height is adjusted from the spring adjuster. I left shock as is.
Camber wear in rear gets noticeable after being lowered more than 1.5" for a while. Camber kit helps a lot to adjust to your liking with alignment.

Thanks, I like them too. Haha...and yea, they're the ones off eBay. I'm going to mod them with better shrouds, sequential LED strips and maybe another projector/led halo retrofit for lower lights.
