:-(

That would make me sad but I totally understand Tim

Thanks guys. I'm keeping it for the time being. We don't have enough money to afford another car payment right now so another car is out of the question anyway.

So instead I decided to replace all the front bushings, tie rod ends and upper camber arms. It has a nice new feeling now.

I'm also working on building a helmholtz resonator for the exhaust to get rid of a lot of the drone which will make me like it more for daily driving.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
I'm glad to see you're keeping it. I just can't see anyone else owning the beast although I suppose it might happen some day.

First of all, THANK YOU for representing G's.
Your car is a true inspiration.
Also, thank you for your review on the Nitto's. I don't know if you even remember doing one, but it helped a LOT with my purchase

Thanks Marcus.
Yep, RWD, they never made the AWD in manual so I went RWD.

muhtish - thank you for the kind words. I do remember the nitto reviews. Both the Invo and NT05 are very good tires. I'm working my way around and trying different ones these days. I just put on a set of 285/25/20 Goodyear F1 Asymmetric rears and have been quite happy so far. Next I'm going to try the Michelin Pilot Super Sports which I understand to be one of the best "true street" tires on the market. They are not cheap but I don't drive my car on long trips much and my drive to work is short so I think the lifespan would be on par with the NO05s. If they made the NT05s in something with a little smaller sidewall I would go back to them.

how do you like the Turbo XS UTEC system?

Im looking into boosting my Z and Haltech is a full standalone but it's like $2400. Another option i looked at was Osiris but its just a reflash. Any other ECU's u would consider?

Sorry for the late reply. I like e UTEC as an entry level system. It gets the job done but is far from the Haltech. The Osiris tune is great apoverall. I have considered changing over to it a few times. It would require me to get a larger MAF and a extensive tune but it would run smoother. The only complaint I have about the UTEC is the transition between the ECU and it. The transition can occasionally cause small hiccups when you are driving normally and go inand out of boost slowly.

Actually a CRV or Ford Escape, for daily driving I have 4 kids. My oldest, my son, is 11 and we are doing Boy Scouts and USSSA Travel Baseball. I need more room and better fuel economy.

For my play car Ive had a 99 Mustang SVT Cobra Convertable for a few years now. Its slowly winning me over....

For sale thread is here...
