Why change head units?

there are probably 1500 individual parts that make up the dash. No, we can't help you with that question.

Is it a rattle or vibration/buzz?... If it's a buzz it could be plastic on plastic center console pieces butting up against each other. Mine buzzed on the passenger side. A very thin piece of foam spongy tape takes care of it. But like G35 Mass said there are about a billion things it could be. However there are reports of multiple similar rattles, buzzes, creaks, etc… so I thought I’d throw the one I have that sounds most like what you are describing.

see attachment for location.

best to have someone drive while you listen underneath dash

at least this way you can have a better idea where sounds are
coming from

You feel the vibration causing the rattle in your brake.
