So the air relief and drain plug share the same O-ring? I guess it is, since you posted 1 part#. Just wanted to double check.

Interesting...I did a search for the part# on google and found your thread.

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...oceedures.html

I thought the transmission uses the same washer as the oil drain plug. At least that's what I read from the forum.

That is correct if your transmission is an AUTOMATIC

Yes, I have a slushbox. Been dying to get back on a clutch. With that being said, that's good I won't need to get the A/T washer. What about the differential washer?

Perhaps you should post your question in a different thread... but to answer, you will need to washers for the differential (one for the fill plug and one for the drain plug).

The ones Toyota uses are the same, and they are about half the price.. , just an FYI.

Hmmm...I've been trying to look for a clear container like that (or shorter) but have yet to find it at local stores like Target / Walmart.

The capacity of the system is about 11qts, so if you don't do the additional 2.5 , you are really going to have a minimal impact. I would recommend at least 6qts for a basic service and 12+ for a flush.

I was thinking if I were to just drain the 3.5 quart that I would repeat it again maybe in 6 months or 12 months. I don't drive that much. I only put in about 5k to 6k miles a year. Not that I don't want to do it like your DIY, just that I don't trust myself. I am a super newbie when it comes to DIY.

I don't have one at the moment... I'm still stalling on the spring install DIY. I'm not sure we did it in the best way.
