I have the VQ resonated, I had the unresonated. There are videos up as well as review of the unresonated on Tony's "Who says the sedan don't get no lovin" in the sedan section. I'm going to put a review and videos of the resonated pipe system up soon. Keep in mind this is only y back for now, don't have the XYZ pipe yet.

Do the HKS exhaust tips stick out and away from bumper?

My dislike my stock 04 sedan exhaust tips because they hide under the Aero bumper... I want the HKS but will the HKS exhaust tips be exposed?

Yes they will be exposed. If you have a nismo kit on, the tips are almost even with the rear valence. If you are stock, the tips stick out a little bit

i just got the top speed y back for my 04 sedan, i love the deep tone it gives off, not too loud and the droning isn't even noticeable when you have your music up a little bit.

is it me or does megan and top speed sound very similar to each other?

Just heard the motordyne (sp?) sounds like a more deeper version of the other 2

Thanks for sharing. That exhaust setup sounds mean! I'll link your thread with the others.

I have the Stillen Gen 2 Catback and it sounds great, but with 2 kids, and business associates I drive around, its not right for me.

Its for sale for $800 USD obo plus shipping. Save a quick $200 from new (or more)

Its basically brand new and the HP gains are true - 25 HP/TQ, its an amazing bump in HP for the low $$$$

I have the coupe midpipe, just waiting the find the HRYpipe. Sucks to go backwards.

Question about the cats

Luckily my brother in law owns a garage where I can work on my 06 G35x but I want to know something before i do my exaust. Was planning on installing a mid pipe, the Blitz Nur spec muffler and throwing in some mandrel bent pipes where ever i run into resonators, then swappin for high flow or race cats. PROBLEM IS...I live in new jersey, we have some of the strictest laws on exaust, i mean I know the statute's for improper or loud exaust are 39-3-70 because i got tickets in every car i ever owned. Thing is I don't care about the tickets now, but i won't be able to get through inspection if they can see i swapped out the cats. So ? is will they be able to see that i changed them while standing next to my car with one of those mirrors they use to inspect exausts???

1 more quick exaust question, the mid pipe? is it just a bent piece of tube or does it have any sensors I have to worry about, thinking about just making my own...DOMO thanks
