I always thought that seemed wrong but never found proof.

I got question about an 03 sedan. I read all the write up and didnt see any about my question. my opld man just purchased a used 03 sedan AT. now my question, when ever I or he drives the car on tiptronic, when you up shift and stop, the little screen still says the previous gear(ex. from 1 to 4th gear and stop it will still be on fourth gear) but when you accelerate from stop it will actually change gear to fourth or where ever you left off. is this normal on sedans? thanks..

Hmmm, that one is out of my range. I would start a thread over in the engine/drivetrain section since the coupe shares the same parts. I think you will get your answer faster over there.

There is no nismo lip kit. The nismo is the full front bumper. Any Infiniti dealer can get it for you but Tony@Riversideinfiniti and EverythingG35 seem to have the best prices most of the time.

GT Motorsports did it on Gurgen PB's car. It was a lot of work and money. You are much better off selling your car and getting a new one with a 6MT.

See his thread for more info:

Well the prob is im about 6 grand off from paying it off totally so selling it isnt really an option.

About my other question, whats the likely hood of swapping the foot ebrake for a hand brake? And has anyone done it?

its not cost effective to do the trans or the brake... you're talking thousands... financially you'd probably lose less by selling and buying MT.

I think on Gurgen's car they did the ebake and 6MT swap. Did you read that thread I posted a link to?
