I replaced mine last year (original was on almost 4 years) because it was a mess from the oil change guys messing with it. I do my own oil changes now. I got a OEM replacement off of eBay for $50. The dealer wanted $130, I think.

The mechanic that do my oil changes hate the sh*t out of it every time he has to remove it. The last time he managed to remove the bolt and take the oil out without removing the plastic cover through an opening right below the oil bolt. Result =>

Since we are talking about the underbody panel, would cutting/enlarging the hole for filter access be changing the aerodynamics of the zero lift issue?

Aluminum Under Shrouds Belly Pans

Hey guys, I see this thread is pretty old but I have designed an affordable Aluminum undershroud for the 350Z and with a minor change I am going to make will also fit the G35's, I have test fit this on a coupe only, Not sure about the sedans but would imagine they are the same.

If there is enough interest over here I will post them up on the vendors section.

Here are a few pics of it.

I designed a oil change access door in to it also so you can actually get to the filter and drain plug without it running into the shield. Lots of room to get in there now

This also retains factory ground clearance under the car.
Weight is 4.5lbs

PC Matte black Aluminum

Oil access! 2 bolts makes this easy to change your own oil!

Aluminum

I'd recommend having it there...i dont have mine on because it ripped off, along with my fender liner, but eventually I'll get it on there...reason why I recommend is because things can get kicked up there, especially if you're lowered, like a large rock....happened to me

^^ That looks pretty good. You gotta pay (I believe) to become a vendor. But I'll be first in line when you decide to sell that (I'll take matte black thank you very much). My under panel is so messed up that it scrapes the street on uneven pavement and dips on the freeway.

Yes, I do have to pay to become a vendor over here also. I already paid on my350Z (cuztompartz) and thought it was good over here as well but evidently not ;(

Already test fit on a 04 Coupe.
Only difference in the 350>G35 under cover is the attachment points for the little lip spoiler on the front/lower part of the under cover. The 350Z doesn't have one.

I do need someone in a sedan for a test fit
I am near Dayton, Ohio if anyone is up for it just PM me.
