The 4WD is different. Tollbothwillie has the right one for AWD.

I already rock that under tray. Best $200 I spent on my car actually. I'm asking about the other tray. There's 2 under there.

That's the one that connects to the front bumper underneath? on my 2004, all the tabs for connecting the splash guard are broken on my bumper. rather than replacing the bumper I've had to do a bit of creative engineering using two large washers, nut and long bolt to compress the splash guard and bumper attachment tab together, and stripping the bolt so that the nut wouldn't unscrew with the driving vibrations and have the splash guard drop and scrape on the pavement..

wouldn't you just be able to use lock-tite? I just pulled the splash guard of my new G for the first time and some of the bolts and one or two of the clips have been compromised, now looking at either engineering a solution exactly like yours or going with a tbw splash guard (would still need to mcguyver things)... sucks that everything was super rusty underneath there these cars were not meant to be driven in winter. I'm going to have to do the exact same thing you did it should be fine after thanks for the idea.

I also apologize for the bump.

I ran over something (did not see anything on the road) on some winding, back-country road in my wife's G. Didn't have many tools with me except for pliers and a knife and I was wearing my suit. There were a couple of bolts I was able to take off, but I had to cut the shield off closer to the center where it was still hanging because I couldn't reach the bolt with my pliers. Anyway, I need a new splash shield because I was the one driving. By the way, this car is amazing and fun to drive! We initially bought this car for me, but the better half claimed it for herself (of course!). It's still titled under my name .

I just called Zimbrick Infiniti of Madison, WI and they quoted me $235.36 for a replacement. They don't have it in stock so I figured I could pick it up someplace else today so I asked him for the part number. So, the dick that I talked to, who goes by the name of Derek, refused to give me a part number; said they can't give that out. Anyway, does anyone have a way to get a part number for the engine shield of a 2005 Infiniti G35X sedan? The shield is rectangular in the front and cascades 3 or 4 times into smaller rectangles lengthwise with a small rectangular cut out towards the back (lengthwise).

Thank you for your time to look and help

P.S. Never go to Zimbrick Infiniti of Madison. This is not the first time they've been useless and unhelpful. I once went in for some service that they needed to hold the car overnight and they refused to give me a loaner because the vehicle is an older model (and my wife refuses to go there herself because they haggle her to trade it in for something newer). I think if they gave my wife a loaner she would've bought one of the new Qs on her credit card like we had done when we bought the G, but we bought it in Chicago where we were living at the time.

Coupe, Premium package, sport suspension
Infinitipartsonline.com has good search and diagrams.

Also consider checking the forum vendor marketplace. Several that produce aftermarket aluminum shields, about same price, with easy access panels for oil change. TollBoothWilly is one of them.

Also, you can ALWAYS file a complaint with Infiniti Customer Service at 1 (800) 662-6200. Best way to treat a bad location is turning them in to THEIR boss.
