^^+1... i wouldnt waste my money on a lawyer.. just get your information straight and read up on the local laws.. try and fight it.. if not.. dont worry about it, just a parking ticket..

you cant fight off a ticket only because the cop put down the wrong model or color information.
however, he had your license plate number down correctly. that's all they need to make you pay the fine.

^ Read back a few pages. Apparently, in NY a ticket could easily be thrown out for wrong model. Doesn't really matter though, he already said it was only $40 and he was going to pay it.
