Clutch Replacement DIY
Hey folks...My '04 Sedan 6MT is getting close to needing a clutch. It just won't grab the way it used to and also engages right at the top of the clutch travel. I have 86k on it and I'd like to replace it myself. I have done a number of searches in the V35 Sedan (03-06) forum and have not found anything sufficient for my needs. My main question is: has anyone replaced their own clutch in a 6MT sedan and do you have some pointers, best practices, things to avoid, what parts to purchase, etc....???
Many thanks in advance. Also, if there is a thread I missed, if you could kindly point me in that direction, I'd appreciate it.

yes i have done my clutch myself.
best practices> saftey. if your doing this type of work for the first time, please practice safety and or have a few friends help you. if it DIY most times you will be doing it on your back.
things to avoid> cheap parts and cutting corners. again if its your first time changing a dual mass system...please have tons of help or a have a shop do it. avoid overkill parts for your application.
parts to buy> it all depends what your goals are and what you will be using the car for. there are many choices and or kits on the market...please check out the forums sponsors. if your going for stock..then a stock setup is key...less noise and stock feel and grab point.
threads> there are TONS of write ups.. http://my350z.com/forum/engine-drive...h-install.html
