That'd look nice... I'm still on step one of polishing my engine bay, only have a nismo oil cap and it's not even in yet, haha. Engine bay comes after my suspension setup.

sorry i over looked this and didnt respond sooner.......

Thank YOU!!

the stock ride height is pretty damn awful looking... the Xs sit higher than the regular sedans stock.... i have bc coils and set pretty much the lowest i can go with out rubbing ground on 18s. i have a bit of room to lower it since im on 19s now, but ive been focussing on getting my engine bay done before anything... i hope this helps.. NO RUBBING

here it is stock height...

When you are done with adjustments can you get some close up side shots of front and rear to see the poke and maybe straight on front and rear side shots

Sorry if that is alot to ask for. I"m basically following your fitment closely so I know what I will be able to fit on my G35x with bc coils and spc camber kit next year.

Not a problem sir. It actually looks sick from the side... I can automatically tell I need 5mm spacer up front after adjustments... May take a while to fine tune since I have many family events and business meetings the next two weeks.... I will keep you posted.

Nice setup man, after reading this thread this just blew me off with my future setup now. I want 18's but since you said you couldn't go as low as you did with the 19's that may be a problem since I want to lower it at least 24.5 all around (hopefully not scraping my front diff). And as for the offset I was planning to go +22 front +30 rear but with that I might need a pull my fender 1inch in the rear but yours is +17 and you didn't need any adjustments? This stuff is so confusing for the AWD cars, so much researching to do...

Yea man I've been through it all... I've had a lot of help and I'm happy to share... Yea the rear is most likely +17 almost positive. But I was at -2 in the rear with 18x8.5+35 and I'm not sure what my camber is now with my 19s bc it doesnt look like its -2 anymore... I got rear fenders rolled flat and I still have plenty of room.. I could lower it another inch and won't rub with current camber. If you want to moar aggressive stance I would suggest 20s it's easier to lessen the wheel to fender gap on Xs without rubbing. But my plan is lowering it as low as I can get it with out bottoming out and cambering it at -2/-2.5 all around. But that's just the plan I'm sure it'll have to change some how... Lol.

Keep us updating on how low you could really go because I have BC coils and gong to be installing it in the spring time so this would def help me know what settings to put it on.

Yes most definitely! I already have some updated on adjustments but too dark to take pics and need to adjust front. There is absolutely no gap on the rear with 1/8 of an inch or more tire tucking.. Dropped at least an inch and a half and set shock rate to max low for less play in damper.... Also have a bunch more room to lower back there but don't want an a$$ sag too much if you know what I mean........ Plan on lowering the front 1/4 of an inch to half if I have to.... But I'd really be pushing it.

No rubbing at all at -2.0 in the rear.

Damper is af 12 clicks from soft.

Setting front at -2.0 with 5mm if everything works out as planned.

Will post pics tomorrow hopefully.

You have the 10k/8k springs? I run full hard on my bc coils I find that it's to bouncy being so low. I rather not bang down.

yea i have my fronts at 12 clicks from hard. may run it 8 clicks from from hard after adjustments and camber, but 12 clicks from soft is the softest ive had them set and still no rubbing... probably keep it there unless the adjustments up front dont work out then ill just harden damper to raise rear a bit to have a more even look.... but thats still up in the air!

im loving the tuck on the rears.... im really happy about it, but! im anxious on how the front will turn out.... im thankful that i have no issues as of now and i love the look of the drop.... pretty FN aggressive for an AWD.

Since you dont know what your offset are, I found this to maybe help you out. I am having a hard time thinking its a +17 in the rear.

So i have a set of wheels and i'm trying to calculate the offset. From my understanding, the offset is the wheel backspace minus the wheel centerline multiplied by 25.4 to get it into mm.

So the set of wheels i have are the following.

Wheel Width = 9

Wheel Center Line = 4.50

Wheel Backspace = 5.75

Thus = 5.75 - 4.5 = 1.25 * 25.4 (to convert to mm) = 31.75

But according to this graph from rsracing.com, it says with a wheel width of 9 and a backspace of 5.75, the offset should be 19

Now i know i'm not the brightest crayon in the box, but whats up with my math?

https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

Measuring Wheel Offset

To calculate offset you'll need the following measurements:
Wheel backspace
Wheel Width
Wheel Center line (outboard flange to inboard flange measurement / 2)

Subtract:
Wheel center line from Wheel backspace to get offset.
If backspace is less than the wheel centerline the offset is negative
If backspace is greater than the wheel centerline the offset is positive

Tip:
To convert from inches to mm multiply by 25.4
To convert from mm to inches divide by 25.4
