high pitch squealing intermitten noise

new g35 owner im a mechanic by trade, this is a new noise to me. the car makes a squeal that continues even after the engine is turned off. the noise I am describing is a sort of pressure release, I took video and trying to figure how to upload. I am searching the forums to find a similar problem. no engine light on.

ok I uploaded a video hoping someone has come across this type of problem, I am guessing a intake gasket? AC compressor? please someone point me in the right direction, I repair all my vehicles and this sounds like a job where I can get my hands dirty, not afraid to do the repairs

yea sounds like an air leak somewhere, or maybe it's just the last weak breath the engine is taking through that after market intake. I wouldn't worry about it unless the SES light is on or the car run terrible.

Since you are a new g35 owner you will learn to "love" the noises the car makes. try to get over them

figured it out after removing the CAI, the crankcase ventilation hose that is near the throttle body was kinked and completely plugged off causing the ugly noise. after reinstalling the CAI I made sure the hose was routed properly. happy now!
