Y pipe!

Quick question. Does the Y pipe off of a coupe fit on a sedan?? My sedan is an 06. One side has a hole and wanted to get that fixed. Buddies of mine have coupes and curious to know if a coupe would fit.

Thanks.

I don't think that problem with the braiding even justifies replacing it. I think there is a flex pipe inside of that and the braid protects the flex pipe. If it's not leaking badly or failing inspection, I wouldn't even replace it. Sorry, I don't know the answer to your original question though..... there are a bunch of threads with that kind of compatibility info though as I recall this being discussed numerous times.

Yes the one from a G35 coupe will bolt right up to your sedan. I agree with jbarnett, if it isn't actually leaking there is no point in changing out for the exact same thing. It could however be a good excuse to upgrade to an HR Y-pipe or aftermarket.

I think ima use it as an excuse muuahahaha. But yeah the leak is coming from somewhere around there. I haven't gone to the shop and checked it out but i get off too late. And that's the only "damage" i can see.
