Should I change my headlight bulbs?

I've got a 2006 sedan. One of my low beams stopped beaming. Should I replace with standard 4300K or switch to 6000k?

Do you want less light output? Then by all means go with 6000k.

Just because 6000k is more blue, 4300k is more of a white light. Whichever way you go, you should change the pair out with new bulb for each side.

I have a full tint on my windshield so I need the white bright light of 4000-5000k

Before you just go out and buy new bulbs because you assume the issue is with the bulb test it in your other headlight. Might be an issue with the ballast, not the bulb.

Also I prefer 5000K because it's white and has plenty of output. Ran 6000K for a couple of years but like the 5K a lot better.

I ran 5000K. Slightly whiter than stock, without the dimming effect of going to far into the blue spectrum.

Blue looks cool, but the human eye doesn't really see blue well.

Update

Just to give an update, I went with the 5000k from Diode Dynamics. I think they look great, whiter than stock. Quick delivery from Diode Dynamics, I would recommend them.

Sounds like a good compromise.

Good choice on the vendor. They sell quality merchandise at damn good prices.
