x sedan stock exhaust y pipe

the flex pipe on the passenger side of my 06 has corroded through and has a small hole. My car is totally stock and I am just looking for a budget friendly replacement. The factory replacement pipe has an SRP of $500 & online has a price near $300+.

I don't want to replace anything more than is needed and am just looking to get the volume back to normal in the car.

suggestions?

Most muffler shops can weld in a new flex pipe assuming the rest of the exhaust is in good shape. Had that done on a DC Sport header I had on my first Accord.

at 10 years old, the pipe is rattling and now blowing through a hole. I realize that it is possible to replace just the flex section, I can replace the entire pipe myself. I am pretty sure i found a lightly used take off from a 2013 G13 and just need to confirm that it will fit.

Does this pipe fit?

Any quality muffler shop can stop whatever is rattling in your exhaust system while installing the new flex pipe! I'm not a fan on buying anything on eBay if you don't know for sure it will fit...check with your local Nissan parts counter.

The g37 will fit but your adding choke points with it. Try and find a HR y pipe. Its closer if not better than the stock X one.

Budget friendly replacement doesn't include a new y-pipe! A trip to the muffler shop and a new flex pipe is what he should be considering!

thank you for the feedback. I have a muffler shop in my area that I can check in with.

If you're still looking for this, I had to replace the y-pipe on my 06x for a different reason and after looking for a while, went with a Bosal Y pipe. Got mine from PartsGeek three months ago for $150 shipped. Part number they gave me was W0133-1957760. It quieted the car a touch more than I liked but it works. Its not muzzled- you can still hear the exhaust, just not as much as before.

And actually looks like partsgeek has it now for $127.
