AWD Endlinks: Stabilizer Link Connecting Rod
Looking to replace some worn suspension parts. The AWD front sway bar end links are different from the RWD versions. In the AWD version there is endlink and a removable bushing in the control arm.
p/N 54618-AQ305
Part #5 in the diagram
prob is they are about $50 each from the dealer. Has anyone found an aftermarket source, or am I paying $100 for two small bushings?

I used Moog endlinks. I got them off Rockauto.com for $13 for each side. Just make sure you have a grease gun. Most aftermarket suspension parts with balljoints have a grease fitting. I picked a grease gun up from Harborfreight for $18. Works amazing and gets the job done.
To be honest alot of people say go with everything OEM for the suspension, but I have found aftermarket suspension parts to be superior to OEM parts. Especially on the G35. The suspension on these cars are complete crap. Especially the compression rod bushings and lower control arms. I use only Moog suspension parts.

Hey Mustang, did you ever find some aftermarket connecting rods? I have this same issue and want to replace them without paying $50...

My online search seems to indicate that only Moog and Mevotech have aftermarket endlinks for the AWD. Several shout-outs here for Moog. Any opinions on the Mevotech endlinks?
Mustang, as I read it you had the Moog endlinks already and then got the Mevotech control arms, so I understand if you have no opinion on the Mevotech endlinks.

Correct, I thought the moog ones were great and a good alternative to OEM. I'd buy them again.
Same goes with Mevotech. I think their parts are pretty good, and have begun buying that brand for other makes and haven't been disappointed. I'd certainly not hesitate to get the Mevotech endlinks for the G35

Dang. I just checked that site for them. $59.67 USD shipped to 27608, coming from UAE, six days from source to warehouse. Then however long it takes from warehouse to your house. The links themselves totaled ~$33. I'm not sure that includes the bushing. But the prices do look good compared to Infiniti retail or infinitipartsdeal.com.
OK, went back to the well one more time. Grand total is 102.92 USD for two "ball joints" (item #5 in Mustang's diagram above) and the right and left hand endlinks, parts are $64.77 and semi-fast shipping is $38.15 for 13 day shipping from warehouse to 27608 house (total 19 days). Mustang's item #5 is priced at $15.90 each.

Looks like I might have to order this soon. I've been getting a clunk from my passenger side over light uneven surfaces in the road. Is there anyway to tell if its the endlink or this part that's shot? Is it more common for the endlink to go bad before this part? Im at 84,xxx by the way. I had the car up on stands cause I was doing a oil change and noticed that if I move the driver side endlink it returns to the position it was in on its own. The passenger side that I'm getting the clunk from doesn't.
