G35 Overheating
Greetings from the Land Down Under! Long time stalker, first time poster. 2003 Nissan V35 Skyline Driver or a 2004 (I think) G35 driver to you guys!
Keeping this one short and sweet. I'm all out of ideas...
- Driving along the highway car over heated and turned off.
- Cracked radiator. Replaced radiator. Added coolant and gave a ROUGH bleed.
- Car still over heated when driving at less than 3k rpm
- Checked Thermostat it was fine. Opened far enough when boiled.
- Checked water pump and it was also fine. Slight rust on blades, but it was still sealed and span but it was a little stuff.
- My engine light is still on and it's still over heating.
Other notable points.
- When turning the AC on full blast it's only ever cool. It doesn't heat up. When I take it to max and lower it a few degrees/fahrenheit it seems to reset itself and continues to blow cool air.
I'm really stumped. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Red.

Thank you for the words of wisdom Telcoman. Whilst I'm borrowing your wisdom, could I borrow you wallet? I do not have the funds freely sitting around to purchase these parts (sorry, really should've included my financial situation in my trouble shooting post). Also, if it's not broken, why fix it?
Fans are all working fine. Radiator cap came with the new radiator I purchased.
I have been following the manual and I still can't seem to diagnose the issue.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Sounds like the infamous "still air in the system" issue. Our cars are notoriously hard to bleed completely. Jack up the front end, run the car until hot, use the bleed screw at the back of the passenger side of the engine bay to let air escape and make sure both main radiator hoses are hot to the touch. Might take a couple of times to get all the air out.

I drove Volkswagen beedles for over 30 years until i could afford to buy brand new vehicles that come with all new parts and a warranty.
If you can't afford a fourteen year old vehicle perhaps you should consider a cheaper brand?
As others have advised you get the air out of your cooling system.
Starting with a cold engine warm it up with the radiator cap off to allow air to escape.
