Do I need new Inner and outer tie rods?

Alright so I did the shimmy test (jacked up the car enough for the wheels to not touch the floor) and both wheels had a little play at the 9 and 3 o'clock position. Does that mean I need inner and outer tie rods? It's an 06 base sedan auto.

Usually, on my experience it's the inner's that are bad when you have that play. I usually end up just replacing both anyway. If they have been on there for years it can be a PITA getting the outer ones off anyway. I had to cut mine off on my Audi.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
That's also a sign of worn wheel bearings, do you have any audible grinding? Bearings are a lot less expensive and labor intensive to replace so make sure you look into that as well.

No noises just play and rattles in uneven streets.

Play would be from the inners.

Replace the outers if the balljoint looks suspect, or simply for the sake of changing them
