Diagnostic Mode

Looking at service manual. For what it's worth..diagnostic mode in Nav unit is initiated by doing the following:

"Press the BACK switch and the "UP switch of the 8 direction switches" within 10 seconds after turning the ignition switch from OFF to ACC and hold them for 3 seconds or more. The buzzer sounds, all indicators of the preset switch illuminate and the self-diagnosis mode starts"

Radio diagnostics mode is as follows:
-Start engine
-Turn audio system off
-While pushing the "Setting" button turn the volume control dial clockwise or counterclockwise for 40 clicks or more. Then self diagnosis mode is started a short beep will be heard.

Here are some tests: Display diagnositcs, vehicle signals, speaker test, climate control, Navigation (steering angle/speed calibration/XM SAT status), error history, Vehicle CAN diagnosis, AV COMM Diagnosis, Handsfree phone, Camera (looks like you can modify lines), Bluetooth (passkey and name can be changed), SAT, history deletion..etc.

Pulling CEL codes:
HOW TO SET DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE II (SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS)
1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch ON and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following procedure quickly five times within 5 seconds.
- Fully depress the accelerator pedal.
- Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the MIL starts
blinking.
NOTE:
Do not release the accelerator pedal for 10 seconds if MIL may start blinking on the halfway of this
10 seconds. This blinking is displaying SRT status and is continued for another 10 seconds.

4. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
ECM has entered to Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results).
NOTE:
Wait until the same DTC (or 1st trip DTC) appears to confirm all DTCs certainly.
HOW TO ERASE DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE II (SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS)
1. Set ECM in Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results). Refer to “How to Set Diagnostic Test Mode II
(Self-diagnostic Results)”.
2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.
The emission-related diagnostic information has been erased from the backup memory in the ECM.
3. Fully release the accelerator pedal, and confirm the DTC 0000 is displayed. PBIB0092E

AUTO ACTIVE TEST
Description
In auto active test mode, the IPDM E/R sends a drive signal to the following systems to check their operation.
• Oil pressure warning lamp
• Front wiper (LO, HI)
• Parking lamps
• License plate lamps
• Side maker lamps
• Tail lamps
• Front fog lamps
• Headlamps (LO, HI)
• A/C compressor (magnet clutch)
• Cooling fan (cooling fan control module)
Operation Procedure
1. Close the hood and lift the wiper arms from the windshield. (Prevent windshield damage due to wiper
operation)
NOTE:
When auto active test is performed with hood opened, sprinkle water on windshield beforehand.
2. Turn ignition switch OFF.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON, and within 20 seconds, press the driver door switch 10 times. Then turn the
ignition switch OFF.
CAUTION:
Close passenger door.
4. Turn the ignition switch ON within 10 seconds. After that the horn sounds once and the auto active test
starts.
5. The oil pressure warning lamp starts blinking when the auto active test starts.
6. After a series of the following operations is repeated 3 times, auto active test is completed.
NOTE:
When auto active test mode has to be cancelled halfway through test, turn ignition switch OFF.

Cruise Control Diagnostics. (ICC)

ON BOARD SELF-DIAGNOSIS OPERATION PROCEDURE
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Start engine.
3. From 5 seconds through 15 seconds after start engine, press
RESUME/ACCELERATE switch 5 times, and SET/COAST
switch 5 times.
NOTE:
• Never turn the MAIN switch ON.
• When operation above is not completed from 5 seconds
through 15 seconds, start again from above go to 1.
4. When the on board self-diagnosis starts up, the ICC system display shows DTC No. (1) at the set vehicle
speed indicator. Refer to CCS-91, "DTC Index".
NOTE:
• DTC will disappear after 5 minutes.
• When more than one malfunction is detected, a maximum of 3 code numbers can be stored; the latest malfunction will be displayed first.

Diagnosis Description
SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE
• Information display LCD segment operation can be checked in self-diagnosis mode.
• Meters/gauges can be checked in self-diagnosis mode.
OPERATION PROCEDURE
1. Turn ignition switch ON, and switch the trip meter to “trip A” or “trip B”.
NOTE:
If the diagnosis function is activated with “trip A” displayed, the mileage on “trip A” is reset to “0000.0”.
(The same way for “trip B”.)
2. Turn ignition switch OFF.
3. While pressing the trip A/B reset switch (1), turn ignition switch
ON again.
4. Make sure that the trip meter displays “0000.0”.
5. Press the trip A/B reset switch at least 3 times. (Within 7 sec-
onds after the ignition switch is turned ON.)
6. The unified meter control unit is turned to self-diagnosis mode.
• Displays "888888" and "8888.8" in the information display LCD
(1) for approximately 5 seconds and then blinks the segment
dots of the information display LCD alternately.
• Water temperature gauge and fuel gauge return to zero, and
at the same time.
7. Each meter activates during pressing trip A/B reset switch.

A Consult III setting for the seat slide during exit.

SEAT SLIDE VOLUME SET The amount of seat sliding for entry/exit assist can be selected from 3 items.
40 mm

ROOM LAMP ON TIME SET

ROOM LAMP OFF TIME SET
MODE 1 0.5 sec.

Sets the interior room lamp gradual dimming time.

R LAMP TIMER LOGIC SET
ON* Interior room lamp timer activates with synchronizing all doors.
OFF Interior room lamp timer activates with synchronizing the driver door

Sets delay timer function timer operation time.
(All doors closed)
MODE 2 Without the func-
tion

Still looking for windows up. :-)

EDIT: Unfortunately nothing on remote window up. Closest method would be the key cylinder option already listed in the owners manual.
