If the phone didn't ring or get an incoming message, you should be okay.
The GSM phones do update every so often, but that's not usually enough to cause the damage.

I think you're okay.... but why keep the wife on standby?
If you're that worried, just keep the other with you, in another pocket.

It happened to me today. I parked myself at home and went to the trunk to take out some bags and the I-Key worked fine. Then I went back to the drivers door in order to close the car, but I had the bags and my cellphone in my hand and couldn't press the button on the door. So I put the Cell in my left pocket were my Key was, and suddenly my girlfriend called. When I pressed the button handle it didn't work. Tried the other side, the trunk, and even starting the car, but it said "No Key".

I have a Motorolla Razor. I've always kept the keys apart from the cell, in my left pocket the key, and in my right pocket the Cellphone. Just happen accidentally today when I mixed them and my girlfrien just happened to call.

Hope it doesn't happen to you. Take care.

That's weird - I used a Razor (iTunes version) for months after getting the car, and tested it by calling the phone with the key sitting on top of it. No issue - wonder if there's a difference between models?

Most dealers should have them now. The told me of the recall about three months ago or so and as soon as they got the keys in, they had me bring in all the original ones and they swapt them out. I never had a problem before, but now I shouldn't expect one.

No - if I remember right, they had the new model keys last fall.
So yours should have the new keys.

I live in Dubai and during my 20000km service my remotes got changed for free, the mechanical key stays the same. They did not know any details about the reason for doing this.

Intelligent Key G35x Sedan 2008

I was wondering a couple things about the g35x sedan 2008. I just figured out that If you hold the "unlock" key for about 3 seconds all the car windows start to lower I was wondering if anyone knew how to make them go up using the intelligent key.(if that is possible) Please can any 2008 g35x drivers answer how to do this?

Remotely... Can't be done without wiring in an aftermarket module.

You can, however, pop the key out of the fob, insert it into the driver's side door lock and turn. Hold it for a sec and the windows will roll back up.

are you saying that there is NO key hole in your drivers side door handle?
That makes no sense unless you put one of those aftermarket keyhole cover on...did you?

I apologize there was a little miss understanding, YES there is a slot for the key but not the actual whole intelligent key, currently my car is not at home but thanks for the advice I will try it with the key once my brother brings it back.
