Yeah thats one of the reasons I went with the video ipod since I could rip all my dvds onto it and watch a movie a day. But on good days its only 45 minutes each way!
The Mogul is something though and for a full slideout QWERTY keyboard its pretty small - smaller than the Treo
Yes, the keyboard (which I believe is similar to my HTC/Cingular 8125) had nice and big keys with good tactile feedback. However, I wasn't crazy about how the keys worked with the Windows Mobile interface (as I said, it wasn't always clear what mode I'm in). But, you can get used to that. The one thing that I did like about my old Treo over the Cingular 8125 is that the keyboard was always available. If you're going to type out long emails, then the HTC keyboard is good. However, for times when you only need to type two letters (for example, a friend's initials to get the contact info), I found the HTC to be a pain having to open the keyboard, type the two letters, and then close the keyboard (the virtual screen keyboard was too small). For quick keyboard needs, I found the Palm to be easier/convenient to use than the HTC. Anyway, just my .02 cents. Anyway, sorry to get off topic.... Once I get some free time, I'll play with the iPhone and G35 more, and give some initial impressions. I believe it should work with the G35 just as well as other phones (though again, not sure if downloading contact list is possible, which it isn't for many phones).
so, you guys are getting the full functionalities with your G35? On the BMWs, everything works fine, but the 6FL adapter for the iPod, doesn't charge the iPhone
