Im interested in the aps brand , does anyone have any ideas where I'd be able to purchase one for the best deal?

First off, welcome to the forum. Now, you'll want to post this thread in the first gen coupe section, not the second gen sedan section; totally different motors between them.

This is a general thread offering tips about the second gen G. If you have a tip, post it in here.

If you have a question, start a new thread and ask something specific. There are still lots of people hear that will try to help you.

Locked keys in trunk

I once locked my keys in my trunk.
Wife was not very happy when I performed the seemingly impossible.
Keys were in my backpack under my computer - I assume the key signal was blocked by the computer.

The auto-close windows and sunroof will rebound while closing if it finds an obstruction. Not suggesting you test this...
Unconfirmed in 2007 G35s sedan, crunched my girlfriend's fingertip once ... maybe she was too delicate to be detected..

To keep listening to music or stay on the phone (premium pkg) while shutting the car off, push the start button twice quickly. The engine will cut, but you'll go into Aux mode with no interruption
Ahhh I thought this must be possible.

Think you got the wrong thread. They don't sell just the housing for oem projectors. You'll need to remove the lens and there's a few screws that hold the housing in. Take it out, paint, put it back in and seal the lens again. You need to put the headlight in the oven to remove the lens. There's threads and videos on how to do this

Coupe 6MT Premium RAS
1. Might be a short in the wiring or switch, do some electrical troubleshooting.

2. Same as above, possibly a failing BCM.

3. Exactly how many mpg are you getting, need some math for this one. Miles you have driven divided by gallons of fuel consumed.

If you hold the unlock button for a few seconds, all of the windows will go down. To automatically raise all windows, place the valet key in the door keyhole and hold the key in the lock position for af ew seconds.

This is not working for me.
I really want it. Any clues what's missing?

After searching online all night, I decided to "reset" my windows. I opened and then closed them all for 10 secs. Voila, it worked. I was able to open with the remote 1/2 of my rear windows for ONE TIME.

I went home and try to repeat my success and it doesn't work. Honestly, no idea why it's working and not working at this point.

PS. It works when I put the key in key hole and turn the key to right.. it opened/closed all four windows.
