A/C Fan not blowing

Hi,
I noticed last few days that the AC and Fan does not blow for couple minutes. It takes like 2 or 3 minutes before it starts to work even if i turn it ON full speed. Does anyone have this problem? I hate to bring it in to infiniti if I can fix it here on this forum. thank you

nope not normal, as soon as i change the fan speed it adjusts the speed accordingly within a few seconds. Not sure if its a fix that you do by yourself from what iv seen here, but maybe someone with similar experience might pitch in.

Most likely it would be the blower motor resistor, as long as the fan does in fact come on..

The blower fan is behind the glove box, I think. And the resistor should be plugged in to the motor. If you have the FSM it should be easy

a/c fan not blowing

hey carboxy, did you get your A/C problem fixed? if yes, what was problem and how much? i have the exact same problem: I turn on a/c, even when fan is manually on max, fan blowing is delayed anywhere from a few seconds to as much as 10 minutes. once blowing it's good, no problem with cooling.

This may be an old thread, but I've also experienced this issue. Sometimes, the fan would not start at all unless I restarted the car. Other times, the fan would only come on after driving for several minutes. Sometimes the fan would immediately start when starting the car only to stop after 5 seconds. I found that it was merely the relay that needed to be replaced, which can be found online for approximately $40 and replaced in less than 1 minute.

The relay is BEHIND the the panel of fuses where your pedals are..you have to take off the panel that's next to your left foot when sitting in car. And it exposes the panel and two screw on top part of it..unscrew these and panel should slide off rail guide and the two relays are on the back looks like a blue box with prongs

This is the relay. But search for prices around Internet but most auto stores has these.
