Possibly the end of my G
Well, I started here with a post of my new car about 5 years ago so it seems almost fitting that I post up possibly the last pictures of my car here as well.
I was unfortunately on the receiving end of a rear end collision on the way home from work yesterday while I was stopped at a red light. The 2010 Toyota Corolla hit me hard enough that I in turn hit the car in front of me. I had her towed home so I’m now waiting for the insurance companies to do their thing. Not really the way I envisioned spending New Year’s Eve.
I’m pretty sure that my car will be getting totaled, so I anticipate parting her out before I have to turn her over. I have most of the factory parts so I’m hoping the insurance company will let me replace the big ticket items and put on the OEM parts.

Ahh dang Terry, that sucks; soooo sorry man!
Glad you are ok though; another 'my G kept me safe in a collision' testimony there.
IF it were mine, I'd definitely be looking to MAKE them total it if at all possible. Even if they could do some straightening, hang new parts, and paint her up, I just wouldn't trust her going forward. I say that largely based on the degree of deformation to the left rear C-pillar; that unibody did it's job well to distribute the collision forces, but in doing so, IT GOT TWEAKED! Definitely a cut-out-and-weld-in scenario on that whole rear quarter. I wish you well in parting her out and do hope the insurance company does right by you.
If you're up to the task, and the insurance company prices it favorably, you might be able to total it, get a settlement, buy it back from them, and part it out.
