So this started happening to my interior... with pic.

So my attempt to fix this issue was met with (expected) sub-par results. The double sided tape was fairly easy to use, and does hold strong, but the panel is so warped that after a day or so it pulled away again, not quite as bad as before, but still not good.
Anywho, this website sells parts, but I am not fully sure if this is the part I am looking for.

Is #9 the item I would want to purchase if I needed to replace?
Anyone have any ideas before I go buy a whole new piece?

I did almost a full g37 interior conversion (console, nav, door panels, etc - I bought nearly a complete 37 interior to this, and have some leftover pieces.) These panels are the same between the 37 and the 35, so I may have the extras laying around - I'll check!

Let me know if you can find a pic of that panel, also, I would love to see some pics of your conversion as well!

The design flaw is that the piece in question here hooks in the back, but not in the front where it peeled back.
The slightest amount of warping in or out will pull that piece back so I feel like its hit or miss. My drivers side shows NO signs of warping, while the passenger side went from normal (Infiniti never really lines things up that well to begin with) to what you see there in like 5 days, and this happened here in winter, so there is no rhyme or reason to it.

Aktif, do you have that passenger panel for sale still?

First of all, lets me warn you. I have not tried this on my car so don't blame me if you get in trouble. If you are all out of solution, you may try this method which is used to bend and shape plastic.
1) Heat up the plastic piece using focused sun ray or even an oven until you feel it is flexible enough to bend/shape it.
2) Bend/shape the plastic piece to the desire shape and secure it.
3) Blow cool air (not cold) to the area that you want it to be reshaped. If you let it cool by itself, you won't get it reshaped to what you want.
You may have to redo the process more than 1 time to get to the shape that you want.
Do this at your own risk!
Good luck.

Before you put on the new panel, can you try the method above? I just want to see how it turns out on Infiniti interior parts.

Replacement panels are not padded and will not become "unglued" anymore.
