Car is jerking, help

Well guys my 07 G35x is jerking at around 40mph or 1500rpm. It is very consistant at this range, and goes away if I give it gas, or shift to sport mode to raise the rpm's. Any ideas? ECU problem maybe? It has the original plugs. Just put 2 bottles of fuel injector cleaner through it. Air filters are new. Just had all the fluids changed 10k miles ago. Car has 107k miles on it, and has been rock solid. Love it. Thanks in advance.

My car did that YEARS ago. Felt like the converter was getting stuck while cruising around 40mph. If I'd give it slight gas it would buck like it would refuse to downshift unless I gave it more gas.

Problem went away when I had the dealership update the software to fix the sensitive throttle. It fixed both issues.

OK thanks. Maybe a trip to the dealer is in order. How much for a software upgrade?

No clue, they did it under warranty for me.

It was one of those situations they "couldn't replicate."

So I drove with the service manager. Of course I could make it happen, and he swore it was "normal."

I had them update to the most recent software anyways to fix the sensitive throttle. It just happened to fix both issues.

welcome to the world of 2005-2008 Gs. Most 5ATs have this issue, I've had the TSB applied, and the shudder was still there. The dealer said that it's "normal". Now my brother's driving my '07 & I've graduated to a '13 with 7AT
