New G35 S Owner
First off I want to say I absolutely love the car so far. It handles like a true sports car and seems very solid. I picked it up for a good deal with the intent to make a little money off of it, but now I'm thinking I may keep it. Car has roughly 114k miles on it and no major issues from what I can tell. There are a few things I'm trying to get squared away such as hooking up my Galaxy S5 and fix a couple cosmetic issues such as the steering wheel bezel, exterior/interior touch ups. Hopefully y'all can assist me with these issues.
I purchased a RCA to AUX cord from RadioShack and connected to my S5 but only the right speakers played. I checked settings and everything was set correctly so I'm assuming it's the car's red input that is the issue. Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem or know how to solve it?
The next one is easy. I just need to know what part #/name this is or where I can order it. Bottom chrome window molding/trim:
With the rest of the small issues, I'm finding most of the answers via search on the forum. Glad to see there is such a large, educated support group for these cars.

I just can't seem to find a specific name to search.

I found this diagram but can't determine exactly which # it is. I believe 14 but that's the only part number I don't see listed. http://www.infinitipartsonline.com/a.../38414305-assy

The steering wheel and door bezels can be replaced pretty cheap (I think wheel is around $80 and doors $30 or so). The replacement ones don't scrape like the originals.
My aux wire I have to jiggle sometimes to get it to play both left and right. Just a loose wire I'm too lazy to mess with.

Did the jiggle and I now have my music.

First project for the weekend was removing the steering bezel and hitting with a few coats of the platidip:
Next was cleaning up the calipers and rotors and applying a few coats of Steel It. Final results look great! I'll get some photo's once I platidip the rims, which I didn't do this weekend due to needing to put a new set of tires on and not wanting to damage the platidip coatings when doing so
Last step killed all of the fulfillment I had by accomplishing these task. Restoring the lights. After breaking my back applying pressure to get these things done right, I realized the majority of distortion was inside the headlight! I proceeded to complete the 3M kit, platicX and sealer. Once completed, I starting removing the 3M Automotive Performance Masking Tape and here are the results:
