If your wanting HP increase you'd be better off saving your money because you might gain a few hp and that's not worth it for the prices. If your wanting sound, I guess you could buy one but for me personally its just a waste of money..the stock are intakes are perfectly fine and are tuned to the motor and everything works great. It just looks cool when you pop the hood.

It looks cool yes but pain in the butt to take off and clean the filters.

For sound the Short Ram intakes are fine and will give a little boost at higher rpms but will do it at the expense of some low end pop. And for around $300 it's not too bad on the wallet.
My Injen SRI performs pretty well and the sound really opens up at heavy throttle over 3k rpm.
It uses the stock plastic runners so not as prone to heat soak as the long metal tubed SRIs.
FWIW, it "feels" faster

In theory you will get the best performance with the stock air box. The set up is really good. Do not waist your money

Thanks for the tips but I might pass on an intake since I've already got a muffler delete. The delete will most likely overpower the intake and Id have to get new mufflers anyway to make it worthwhile.

The muffler deletes sound would be too loud for the intake to be heard. As in one sound overpowers the other....

Cut holes in your firewall and pipe sound from the engine bay into the cabin, then the sound of poor performance can be heard inside and outside of the car!
