Using AWD on 2007 Infiniti G35x?

How do you turn on AWD because as I was reading, when you turn on snow mode the AWD light is supposed to turn on on the dash. But the light doesnt turn on at all except when you first start the car and all the lights light up. Can it be a fuse or something? If so where is the fuse located?

That's not how the system works, so please disregard what you've read. If the AWD light is coming on in your dash, then that's a warning light that there is a fault in the system and the AWD has been disabled and you are running 100% RWD.

The car goes from AWD to RWD on it's own without any input or indication to the driver. You will never know when it's 50/50 split, or 100% RWD and that's by design.

Some operating criteria however.

During normal operation, from a dead stop the car will have 75% of it's power to the rear wheels, and 25% to the front. Around 18MPH, the car will transition to 100% RWD unless there is slip detected and then the car may send some power to the front wheels.

During SNOW mode, the transfer case is coupled and power is split 50%/50% between rear and front wheels. Around 10MPH or so, the transfer case will begin to reduce power to the front wheels, unless slip is detected in which case it will apply power to the front. Also, throttle response is "dulled" here to prevent over-input from the driver causing wheel spin in low traction situations.

But, as said before, the car will never indicate how it's using the AWD system. The only driver input is the SNOW mode button to alter how power is split at low speed. Above a certain MPH limit, it's all automatic.

ALSO, the SLIP light is not an indicator of use of the AWD system. The slip light flashes when wheel spin is detected and the system tries to correct it by applying brake, reducing throttle and modulating the torque split of the AWD system, but the light alone does not indicate when the AWD system is active or not active.

Basically, the system is computer controlled and you'll never know. But, with good tires on it, it's a pretty capable system.
