2007 Sedan Door Alignment
Hey all.
I was wondering if anyone knew any methods to help align my front drivers door to the rear passenger door.
The drivers door sits a tad lower than the passenger door and the chrome window trims do not line up. This problem was highly visible when I purchased the car but I moved the striker plate up as high as possible which did help. The door still seals properly, but the chrome does not match up.
Looking outside of the passenger side, both the front and back door trims match perfectly.
Is there any easy way to fix this? I imagine the door is simply sagging as it is used probably 99% more than all the other doors.
Any insight into this?

Mike, the procedure is fully outlined in the FSM (available free online here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G35/Sedan/2007_G35_Sedan/ )
Look in section "DLK" (i.e. Door and Lock), starting on page # DLK-200

So I looked over that section, and it is entirely possible maybe I missed it, but this covers the removal of the front door which I am hoping to avoid.
Is that the only viable option for re-aligning a door? Is there a section in here about alignment that I might be missing.
Let me know!
Thanks again.

Yes, when I glanced at it to find the page number, that's about what it looked like. I haven't ever done it though, so I can't say whether or not it really is mandatory to R&R the fender to gain access to those bolts (if they are just being loosened). I'd look for any possibility of using a universal joint or something if they just need to be cracked, shifted, then re-tightened.
