Hi everyone! I've been searching around on here for a long time but haven't signed up til now (obviously). I have an 07 X with 51k. I bought it in 2012 with only 36k on it. Ran great but recently I'm getting what I believe to be hub noise (wump wump) and an occasional click type noise. I took off the tire and the brake system; aired it out with the compressor and sprayed pb plaster behind the hub and tried to get some inside the little lip (front passenger btw). The sound goes away for a few days, maybe a week. I'm pretty sure it's the hub. Does anyone have any other ideas from the little info I was able to give? I ordered a hub assembly replacement, but was looking for a DIY but I can't find one for the X. Is there any difference with the other models to this one? Thanks for any help you can give me with this.
