re-attaching rear splash guards
Hey guys last year the factory adhesive on both my rear splash guards were failing. I tried 3m double sided tape on a warm day after cleaning both surfaces and held the newly re-taped splash guards to the car for a bit. They seemed to stick but there was still be some play between the guard and the rear quarters almost like the 3m double sided tape was too thick. I just rode it out but now the warm weather is coming again and i want to get them back to the factory look and be flush to the car. Has anyone else went through this process of re-taping them? If so what did u use? Any idea what nissan uses? Thanks

Did you use the 3M double sided tape specifically for automotive applications? They have numerous variants specifically intended for different applications around automobiles. I'd do some research here: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...on-Guidelines/

You can actually call and speak to a rep at 3M to be sure, or a good paint/body shop supplies store (also where you'll likely find it, if not ordering online), but my guess is it will be one of the first three on that list.
