The reason I am asking this is I want black housing headlights and nobody makes aftermarkets and the 2011+ G37 have black housing headlights. I want to put them on my 2008. Both would be from coupes. All of them I see advertised on ebay say 2011+, but when I look up from bumpers they say 2008+ are all the same fitment so I am confused why the headlights wouldn't be the same. Anybody who knows for sure please let me know. The headlights aren't cheap so I don't want to buy them and they don't fit.

 

Why not sell your 2008 and purchase a 2011?

Are the BCM and IDPM the same in both vehicles?

And the wiring harness's and connections?

Wattage and current draw?

I'm not going to sell the car to buy one a newer one just for black housing headlights. I don't need them that badly and I prefer the 5 speed automatic transmission on the 08 over the 7 speed. I'm not worried about the wiring. I can handle wiring. That's simple. I'm worried about fitment.
