Camera question for you gurus
Ive seen black and white pics with cars and the car being fully colored. So the car is lets say red and everything else is colorless. HOW?
I cant seem to figure how to do it. Im using my g/f sony cybershot DSC-W55.

There are SEVERAL ways to do this.
Easiest way, IMO, is to make a copy layer. Desaturate the top layer. Use the Erase tool and delete the car on the top layer. IMO, this usually doesn't look very cool when most people do it. It only works well in some cases. In most, it just looks like crap.

canon has an option called "color accent" that can do that for you. really easy to use. you choose the color you want to stand out and everything else is black and white. its in all the canon sd series cameras. here's a thread that talks about it. Canon Color Accent Feature

It's a Canon thing. I don't believe Sony comes equipped with this feature yet.
