I have never seen a VQ swapped anything. This was at Dankfest 2016 in Myrtle Beach. I only have two pictures but I thought you guys might enjoy it!

 

I always wondered why more people don't do VQ swaps. They're cheap as *****, they're everywhere, have a ton of support and have decent potential (albeit expensively), but even in stock form it would make a lot of cars just better.

My buddy just bought an 86 Toyota pickup that has the 22RE in it. It's slow as **** and I was telling him he should put a VQ in it. It's gonna be a BTTF replica, so it's gonna look amazing; might as well give it some power too.

 

That'd be a pretty unique build. Of all the swaps I saw on Saturday most were either 2jz or SR20, not very surprising

 

Yeah, everyone either wants turbos or V8 (LS anyone?). A well tuned V6 is great for a light car like the 240 tho. I hope more people start doing it. Plus you get that VQ sound. Oh man, that sound coming out of a 240 would be awesome.
