Question Play in wheel?

Recently I've noticed a little bit of play in my steering wheel. I can turn it about 2-3 degrees of rotation from center before it "engages" and starts to work anything inside. It feels just limp and disconected in this null zone. I was wondering if anyone had experienced this and if so what they did to fix it. I've heard that some cars also have an adjustment for the play in the wheel although I'd never heard of it on the G.
