Unhappy My G turns off on tha road !! need advice

picture this, getting off the freeway and onto a onramp. slowy engaging brake as i approach. properly shift into lower gear and turning... all of a sudden engine light appears, no accelleration, and no powersteering?!?! have to manual control car and when its save turn key and start it.
-this happend on 4 occasions within the last year.

ok so like it says. my 2003 coupe turns off and i have to restart the engine while in movement. i lose powersteering and accelleration and the brake feeels wiery for the time until i restart the motor and all power comes back. i have one of the first models out so is this the problem? other factors may be tire pressure?? aftermarket mods?? stumped. i bought the car used with a stillin intake and exhaust system already installed. and this happened like once before i did anything else to the car. ??? help and advice from anyone with knowledge of this?

another small thing that is the last of my worries is i get alot of rattling? but i hear alot of other people to aswell. and moreso after i installed jwt clutch and flywheel but still. what is this noise coming from? my tranny or engine?

*please help i do not want to give up my baby over this. im seriously considering buying a 06 and swapping my parts over

How far are your RPM's dropping when you depress the clutch? Might need to bring the RPM's up a notch.

i would take the car into the dealer... I hope you're still under warranty and i remember hearing rumors about the 1st batches of g35 with electronic issues. hope you're under warranty still

with a lighter clutch and flywheel you will definitely hear more chattering from those parts.

Check you cam and crank sensors sounds like you are breaking a electricial signal for the drive by wire.
I would spend an afternoon tracing your wiring harness under the hood and ensuring all elec plugs are tight and conntected. then take it to the dealer.
Do you know what engine code its throwing?
LOL this happened to me but much more serious.
I broke my timing ring off the fly wheel during a down shift. I broke my crank pos sensor.
If you timing ring is loose or the sensor is loose this could happen just as you described.

TIMING RING on your flywheel

hey bro i had the same problem and i thought that it was the cam position sensor bank 1 cuz thats what the diagnosis pulled up P0011 but it actually might be your timing you might have to much advance timing.

The way you describe it you're not in neutral for long, but if the RPMs drop below ~1000 at highway speeds while in neutral with a stillen intake, you'll stall.
