I only have this problem in the colder months, currently during the spring and into the summer my A/C works flawlessly.

same here. seems like it's happening to 04 G's. anybody have an answer before I get into headaches w/dealership?

Update:
Got the problem fixed, at least for me. The sensor was disconnected. They plugged it back in and it works fine now. I remember pulling some wires for my V1 and i guess it tugged on the sensor and loosened the connection.
