Need help! Car shut off while driving to work.

I have an 06 6mt coupe. The only mod I have installed on the engine is a ztube and muffler delete. On the way to work I was cruising along at about 40 mph and my car shut off in this order: First the center console/tachometer, then the powersteering and engine. I pulled over to the side of the room and took the key out and went to start it up. Cranked over right away. This leads me to believe that it Isn't my battery but some electrical gremlin😓 I'm taking it in to get my battery and alternator tested but if it's not related (which I doubt it is) I need to figure out how to move forward.
Thanks any help is appreciated!

I felt like I might have had behavior like that after having had some electrical work and it was the connection to the battery.

If so, it was a simple cleaning of the battery terminals and reconnecting the clamps.

I wasn't nearly as smart. It went longer for me than it should have. I would have the car cut itself off in stop and go traffic. It would always start right back up...almost without missing a beat.

It was a very inexpensive fix though. You probably have this fixed by now....although, if it was just once, you may have never isolated the exact problem.

Good Luck,
Dave
