Trunk will not open

Won't open from fob or the interior button!??!?? Car has been driven multiple times since first noticed. Anyone have an idea? Is there a fuse to check for this issue?

Thanks

there is a switch in/next to your glove box that makes it so the trunk wont open. flip the switch and try again.

yes, you have some broken wires in your trunk lid. you need to manually pop the trunk. pull back the grommet and re solder the wires. takes about 30 min.
this is a very common issue and there is tons of info on the subject.

Look for the sticky, this is common. Or! You can do what I did when I was lazy and under warranty and have the dealer replace the rear harness... For $1300 (covered in my case *whew*!).

Read this thread (especially the last post that I added) to correctly diagnose and fix your problem:
https://g35driver.com/forums/general...ggestions.html

A search of the forums "trunk release" would have quickly found this for you.

Thanks for link, was able to finally get this fixed as well! One wire was sheared straight through! Made a small jumper cable, soldered it on and heat shrinked it, has been working the past week just fine
