2003.5 Sedan condenser motor
My 2003.5 sedan has 231k miles and it has been pretty good to me over the (13) years. I am having an overheating problem at the moment, part of which I believe is the condenser motor not coming on when the AC is turned on. It does come on at 210* with the AC on. It is hard to find a replacement aftermarket motor because I believe Infiniti changed from single e-fans to dual e-fans either right before the 2003.5 model (the doggy-door sedan) or right after (2004).
I see a lot of aftermarket motors that specify they fit left or right, which tells me they are targeted at a dual fan system. Does anyone know if the same motor is used on models with a single e-fan? I can get a motor that I know is the correct OEM one for $168 but jeez, that's a lot. With the age/mileage of the car I am looking for a good aftermarket option. Can anyone help? Thanks guys.
