Sleep dilemma

I have a little problem. I want to work out but I noticed a couple of things. The best time for me to do my workouts would be in the early morning. However, I can't get myself to wake up in time for my workout. If I do my workouts at like 6 or 7pm, I can't sleep because I have too much energy.

decisions decisions. do any of you have that problem?

I would suggest to try and get a "workout buddy" who would keep your accountable for your morning workouts if that time works best for you.

If you get up and work out you'll be tired earlier on in the night and go to bed early. You'll adjust eventually.

Oooooooooooor, workout harder so that you're super tired when you come back and you just crash (No don't really do that)

I set my clothes out the night before, in the bathroom, I also have an alarm clock in the bathroom so I have to physically get up and go in there to shut it off. Luckily my husband is already up, showered and sometimes gone when it goes off so its all up to me to shut it off. Also, he lets the dogs in and my Choc. lab will jump on the bed and sit and stare at me since he knows we run in the A.M. I used to wake up an hour earlier and drink a big glass of water I put on the night stand the night before, then in about an hour I would have to get up to use the bathroom. I have tried many tricks to get up, none I like and it's still hard but the feeling after a good morning run makes up for it. I love the different sounds and smells early in the morning...except bacon, that always makes me hungry. haha.

I wouldn't really consider it a problem....rather a lack of dedication, discipline, and desire for your results.

It's common with some people to have a raised metabolism if they work out in the evening creating some sleeping issues.

The solution is simple... do it any other time before supper.
