Thumbs up Just started P90X

Started the week of the 4th of July but with holidays off and gi-normous amount of unhealthy food, I decided to take off the rest of the week. So I though I'd give it another shot. I restarted 7/13 and dedicated to sticking with the routine for good (and this time I mean it). As for the diet, I'm not following it to the T but staying within the general guidelines regarding portions (i.e. majority protein, little carbs, TONS of fruit/veggies/water, no fast food/junk).
The workouts are killer as far as endurance and cannot wait to get back into doing 15+ pull-ups (Marines for 5 years) and getting an ideal physique, never had one mainly due to beer but was in pretty good shape in the Marines. P90X is NOT for gaining size, more for getting cut and endurance. The ab workout killed me the first time but now I can already tell the difference with more ROM and endurance although it still kicks my arse. I'm currently 175lbs, can do about 5 pull-ups if I'm pissed off, have no idea what my BF % is but I can say I can afford to lose 10-15lbs.
Any other members/P90X-ers please chime in and tell me what you guys think or share your questions, results, motivation, ideas etc.. I'll periodically post up how the workouts are going and results. If you're interested on getting your hands on a P90X set, PM me. Wish me luck!

I just started this myself. First day I tried the plymetrics, because since my running and basketball days, my legs seem weak and heavy. I made it through 10 mins before I had to quit. It is a killer. The next day I did abs, whole video. I hurt for 4 days. I would say something you have to gradually work into, but it is great.

i'm being tried here. last few weeks stuff has come up and kept me from working out. i got the stomach flu, then my wife got sick, then her grandmother died so we had family in town all week. now my daughter has strep so she hardly sleeps. arrrrgh!!! i'm still eating right and do a max set of pull ups a few times a day but it's frustrating that i'll have to do P120X instead.

They do tell you to take it at your own pace. and at the beginning of Abs they tell you it is not P90 100, or 200 but P90 360.
Keep up the hard work and if you are coming from a sedate life it can only get better

Yeah I know. I did it this week, I only did half the amount and I made it through.

I just started the Ab RipperX on PX90. It's pretty hardcore. I have to take a 5 minute break in the middle on order to finish it.
