You know taking any diet supplements are bad, not that I'm going to preach since everyone knows this. One of my b/f's friends g/f took this and she swears by it. She did seem to drop some lbs. I can't speak from personal experience though.

i've never taken hydroxy cut but im considering on taking some sort of weight loss supplement in the next month or 2.
You might want to check out Lipio-6 Liqui-Caps here: http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=1338 Also, you might as well check the rest of 1fast400.com , especially their weightloss section. Check out which are the most popular products and also read the user reviews, which can turn it to be very helpful. I've used that method to find my favorite creatine, ZMA, etc supplements edit: Yes, i also agree with aries. If you do plan on using hydroxy-cut or some other weightloss supplement. Be smart about it. Follow the dosages, break periods, and DONT abuse it. Otherwise you could endanger your health |

most of the diet aids contain chemicals/substances that increase your metabolism. so, most contain caffeine and/or ephedra.....not good. you can always drink a lot of coffee and save yourself some money.

the main reason why they banned ephedra products in the US a few years back was because so many people WERE abusing it. as long as you take it correctly you should be fine. but if you notice any strange side effects, then obviously just get rid of it

I thought the ban was lifted on ephedra. Either way you can still get it online. I've used the caffeine, ephedra, aspirin stack in the past with decent results but always stopped after a 3 weeks from the sides. Cardio in the AM before breakfast was the key for me to lean up. I dont see how Hydroxycut minus the ephedra would work...
EDIT: The side I noticed was near depression. That's the best I can describe it. Went away after 3 or 4 days off. |

Wait...from what I've searched I still can't find supplements with ephedra in them. Where are you guys finding this? Years back I did try Xendadrine, that worked great, but since they've take the ephedra out it doesn't work a bit.

actually, ppl who take ephedra products will all develop a "rebound effect" where it takes more of the drug to create the same effect due to your bodies tolerance to the medication. so, eventually, most ppl will abuse it to gain the same effects as they did when they first tried the product. also, due to its systemic effects, it will cause you a lot of fatigue when you're off the product. i speak from experience because i actually tried the stuff years ago to aid in my work-out. also, i've learned a lot about the drug from school in my pharm classes. "^^ and the ephedra was also a prescription drug, so i think drug companies were getting pissed off that people were buying ephedra at a GNC so they banned it, but its all speculation" ephedra is no longer used as a prescription medication. it's very, very old in terms of generation of drugs. there are now much more potent and safer medications in its same class. so, i don't believe drug companies were pissed at all....they weren't selling it themselves! |

You don't need to take hydroxycut to lose weight. all you need is a good program to stay on to watch what you eat and exercise and fat will shave off. stay away from simple carbs.
what are simple carbs? well simple carbs are like orange juice, grape juice, candy, soda, anything with sugar in it. why stay away from sugars? well here's why: when u ingest sugar, your blood sugar level in your blood stream goes up. what does your body do to counteract all this sugar in your bloodstream? it releases insulin. insulin will "push" out all the sugar from your bloodstream and put in places of your body where it needs extra energy. let's say you're sitting on your butt at the office. your body doesn't need the excess energy from the sugar, so where does it put it? IN YOUR FAT! why does it put it in your fat? because your body is smart and it prepares itself for the worst everyday. it knows, just in case Luxxxz doesn't eat food, your body will need access to stored energy. that's what your fat is for. so to sum it up, eating sweets, drinking soda, drinking OJ, drinking Nestea will increase sugar levels thus putting the fat in places you don't need. the other thing you should do is eat 5 meals a day to NATURALLY increase your metabolism. the more frequently you eat, the better your body becomes into a furnace of burning food. not only will your body burn away the food you're ingesting every 3 hours (recommended), it will burn away fat while you're sitting on your butt at the office. how does it do that you ask? good question. everyone's body is different. some people have slow metabolisms and burn away only 1500 calories a day. some people burn away 2000, and some people burn 2500, and so on. Let's say your body is a machine and can burn 2500 a day. let's say every 3 hours, u take in food and in total for the day, you eat 2000 calories. your body needs to compensate the 500 calories. where does it find 500 calories? FAT! this is the reason why fat is stored, so when you starve yourself and deprive yourself of food, your body will slow down its metabolism and feed off your fat and MUSCLES for energy. those are the two main princinples i'll mention right now. i mean, most people think it's boohocky anyways so it's up to u if you wanna go healthy and understand how the biology of your body works or go cough up 30+ dollars for a bottle of hydroxycut and think you'll look like that girl or dude on the advertisement of the muscle magazine. just to let u know, i've been dieting for years so i can personally tell u what i'm telling you works and i have seen results. it's all up to you and how easy you want out? the easy way or the healthy way. btw, i also took supplements when i was in college, xenadrine-FX. that shiet is bad because the only thing it does is make u eat less and increase your metabolism. but think about it. let's say you get that six pack from hydroxycut or xenadrine. when you stop taking it, the supplement isn't gonna be helping you with your metabolism anymore. your body is gonna revert back to the old metabolism that you had because that's equilibrium. you're just gonna gain all that weight back, TWO FOLD! if you wanna try it out, do it. but i'm giving you personal experience that that shiznit will make u antsy and make your piss yellow =) hope this post helped fellas and fellettes. -SuperShick |
