hmm... the closest thing i had to this was live small octopus in korea and eel salad.. the octopus is stabbed with a chopstick and wrapped up in a bundle, then dipped in a vinegar based sauce, then eaten alive.. it's rather delicious. the eel salad is prepared a bit differently.. the eel is skinned in front of you, boned, chopped up, then mixed in a salad of green onions and cabbage. it's topped off with a vinegarette as well.. that salad is really good.. i forgot the name of it... the only place i found it was on hyundae beach in pusan.

They actually have a place here in the LA area that serves live octopus. I think it's illegal to sell live octopus in the states. Not sure tho.....but it's yummy!!
