What'd you cook today?
I figured this could be an ongoing thread of what people are cooking.
On Saturday night, I did a Moroccan themed dinner. I seasoned chicken breasts with a whole bunch of spices, including curry powder, cinnamon, cayenne, and garam marsala and sauteed them.
I made a sauce out of chicken stock, pomegranate molasses, molasses and sugar, and poured that on top of the chicken.
Side dish was lentils with harissa-infused cheddar cheese (both from Trader Joe's). I shredded the cheese and tossed it with some flour. Add this in handfuls to boiling chicken broth/wine to create a fondue. Microwave the lentils so they're warm and then mix them into the fondue sauce. Those lentils are very tasty and good for you!
Served with a zinfandel from Sonoma (Dry Creek i think).
