MagnaFlow X-pipe muffler ?

Looking to quite the car down after the SC un-install . I have a dual Stillen with test pipes .

FastIntentions uses a MagnaFlow X-pipe muffler and Im wondering if this is a custom made unit for them or an off the shelf piece ?

This seems to be a cheaper solution instead of putting cats back on the car . I plan on putting a turbo [ single or TT not known ] in a year or so and I think spending $400 or $500 on cats would be stupid .

thanks !

you could add resonators or just put in new cats, unless the x-pipe by FI is resonated it wont do much to quiet the exhaust. look a magnaflow's site for detail info on their products, I know dynomax makes a resonated x-pipe muffler as well that you can get from summitracing.

How come you took off the SC?

I know you put a lot of time into the setup.

It is off the shelf. Call or get a hold of a MagnaFlow dealer/catalog and measure the area where you would fit it. I custom did this on my Invidia and worked perfectly. Super quiet at first but then the testpipes burns all the fiber, but still no drone.

I had just spent a bunch of money on it and GF got laid off of work . So I sold it all off to pay for the money I had just spent . I used a CC to pay for it
